Royal Hideaway Chef's Table
- The Chef's Table started at the Royal Hideaway Playacar at the
beginning of February 2009. In the beginning stages it will be
offered once a week. This may increase based on management and
chef's decision as well as demand
- It is located inside the Las Ventanas restaurant kitchen (the kitchen
was recently remodeled to accommodate a special dining area for the table)
- The Chef's Table will seat a maximum of 10 people
- The guest's of the table will be invited by the executive chef, Raul
Vaquerizo and the Managing Director, Jean Agarrista, via a personal
letter. Please note that Raul Vaquerizo was awarded one of the top 8
chef's in Mexico in 2008.
- The menu will be specially selected and designed by the executive
chef, it will include culinary delights in tasting menu style. This
menu will not be repeated in any other restaurant, it will be exclusive
for the Chef's Table.
- Special wine pairing selection will be included in the dinner
- The chef and his team will simultaneously be seen preparing this
special menu via a web cam plasma screen. in addition; the chef will
have a headpiece so that he can communicate and explain to the guests the
techniques and process of he is preparing
- Each guest will sign the Guest Book for that evening and will be given
a certificate with a copy of that evening's menu
- It is complimentary for Royal Hideaway Playacar repeat guests
- Any other guest requesting to dine at the table will have a minimal
charge of $150.00 USD per person and reservations will be made with their
villa concierge
- The table will be open for non-guests of the resort at a cost of
$200.00 USD per person.
